Adhyāya 129 — Public Acclaim of the Pāṇḍavas and Duryodhana’s Appeal to Dhṛtarāṣṭra
kathayasva mahābāhuṃ bhīmasenaṃ yaśasvini | na hi me śudhyate bhāvas taṃ vīraṃ prati śobhane ||
The verse highlights a dharmic approach to judgment: when uncertainty arises about a person’s nature or conduct, one should seek truthful narration and clarification rather than rely on suspicion.
Vaiśampāyana requests an illustrious woman to recount information about the hero Bhīmasena, stating that his own mind remains unsettled and doubtful regarding Bhīma and needs clarity.
