Adhyāya 125: Raṅga-pradarśana — Arjuna’s Entry and Astric Demonstration (रङ्गप्रदर्शनम्)
सह पुत्रैस्तत: कुन्ती माद्रीपुत्रो च पाण्डवौ । आज म्मु: सहितास्तत्र यत्र राजा तथागत:,इतनेमें ही पुत्रोंसहित कुन्ती और दोनों पाण्डुनन्दन माद्रीकुमार एक साथ उस स्थानपर आ पहुँचे, जहाँ राजा पाण्डु मृतकावस्थामें पड़े थे
saha putrais tataḥ kuntī mādrīputrau ca pāṇḍavau | ājagmuḥ sahitās tatra yatra rājā tathāgataḥ ||
Dann traf Kuntī mit ihren Söhnen ein, und auch die beiden Pāṇḍava-Prinzen, von Mādrī geboren, kamen gemeinsam an den Ort, wo König Pāṇḍu lag—sein Leben war erloschen.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma in the face of death: family members must unite, acknowledge impermanence, and assume responsibilities—especially the protection and rightful guidance of heirs when a king has died.
Kuntī arrives with her sons, and the two sons of Mādrī also come together to the spot where King Pāṇḍu lies dead, marking the immediate aftermath of his passing.
