Āstravidyā-Pradarśana: The Kuru Princes’ Public Demonstration of Arms (आस्त्रविद्या-प्रदर्शनम्)
नकुल॑ सहदेवं च रूपेणाप्रतिमौ भुवि । तथैव तावपि यमौ वागुवाचाशरीरिणी,उनमेंसे एकका नाम नकुल था और दूसरेका सहदेव। पृथ्वीपर सुन्दर रूपमें उन दोनोंकी समानता करनेवाला दूसरा कोई नहीं था। पहलेकी तरह उन दोनों यमल संतानोंके विषयमें भी आकाशवाणीने कहा--
nakulaṃ sahadevaṃ ca rūpeṇāpratimau bhuvi | tathaiva tāv api yamau vāg uvācāśarīriṇī ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Und (sie gebar) Nakula und Sahadeva — beide von unvergleichlicher Schönheit auf Erden. Auch über diese zwillingsgeborenen Söhne verkündete, wie zuvor, eine körperlose Stimme (ihre Bedeutung).“
