Vaiśampāyana said: Adorned with celestial garlands and garments, and embellished with every kind of ornament, the companies of Apsarases gathered there. They began to sing in praise of Bībhatsu (Arjuna) and to dance—an enchanting display that underscores how extraordinary merit and heroic discipline draw even divine admiration.

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how excellence grounded in disciplined heroism and worthy conduct earns honor beyond the human sphere; recognition is portrayed as a natural consequence of merit, not merely social acclaim.

A host of Apsarases, splendidly adorned, assemble and begin singing Arjuna’s praises and dancing, marking a moment of celestial celebration around him.
