पाण्डोः श्राद्धं, सत्यवत्याः वनगमनम्, बाल्यस्पर्धा च

Pāṇḍu’s Śrāddha, Satyavatī’s Withdrawal, and Childhood Rivalry

निर्मुक्तः सर्वपापेभ्यो व्यतीत: सर्ववागुरा: । न वशे कस्यचित्‌ तिष्ठन्‌ सधर्मा मातरिश्वन:,मैं सब पापोंसे सर्वथा मुक्त हो अविद्याजनित समस्त बन्धनोंको लाँघ जाऊँगा। किसीके वशमें न रहकर वायुके समान सर्वत्र विचरूँगा

vaiśampāyana uvāca | nirmuktaḥ sarvapāpebhyo vyatītaḥ sarvavāgurāḥ | na vaśe kasyacit tiṣṭhan sadharmā mātariśvanḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Von aller Sünde befreit und über alle Schlingen und Verstrickungen hinausgelangt, werde ich unter niemandes Gewalt bleiben. Im Dharma gefestigt, werde ich überallhin ziehen wie der Wind.“
