Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return
True wisdom is shown by calm deliberation followed by firm resolve; the best decision is one that aligns with dharma and promotes the welfare of one’s family or community.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a speaker endorses a proposed course of action by praising the wise person who thinks carefully and then decides, asserting that the present proposal is both dharmic and beneficial for their lineage.
