Shloka 114

अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति

एतावदुक्त्वा भगवान् वीरभद्रो महाबलः अपश्यन् सर्वभूतानां तत्रैवान्तरधीयत

etāvaduktvā bhagavān vīrabhadro mahābalaḥ apaśyan sarvabhūtānāṃ tatraivāntaradhīyata

Nachdem der Erhabene Vīrabhadra, von großer Kraft, dies gesagt hatte, verschwand er—von allen Wesen ungesehen—an eben jener Stelle. Darin zieht sich der Beauftragte des Herrn aus dem Feld des Handelns zurück und zeigt: Alle Macht wirkt allein durch den Pati (Śiva), während die Paśus (Seelen) durch ihre begrenzte Sicht gebunden bleiben.
