Suta
It grounds Shiva-oriented japa and stotra recitation in Vedic discipline: correct chandas (Gāyatrī) and proper svara (Udātta etc.) make the mantra efficacious for Linga-pūjā.
By naming the Paramātman as the adhidevatā, it points to Shiva as Pati—the supreme consciousness presiding over mantra, beyond the pashu (individual soul) and its pasha (bondage).
Mantra-sādhana with attention to chandas and Vedic accents—an essential discipline supporting Pāśupata-oriented purification and focused japa in Shiva-pūjā.
