Shloka 47

उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

छन्दो देवी च गायत्री परमात्माधिदेवता उदात्तः प्रथमस्तद्वच् चतुर्थश् च द्वितीयकः

chando devī ca gāyatrī paramātmādhidevatā udāttaḥ prathamastadvac caturthaś ca dvitīyakaḥ

Die Göttin, die das Metrum (chandas) beherrscht, ist Gāyatrī, und das höchste Selbst (Paramātman) ist die übergeordnete Gottheit. Der erste ist der udātta-Akzent; ebenso der vierte, und auch der zweite, werden entsprechend angewandt.
