सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

Jyotish-chakra: Surya’s Motion and Monthly Retinues

मानवानां शुभं ह्येते हरन्ति च दुरात्मनाम् दुरितं सुप्रचाराणां व्यपोहन्ति क्वचित् क्वचित्

mānavānāṃ śubhaṃ hyete haranti ca durātmanām duritaṃ supracārāṇāṃ vyapohanti kvacit kvacit

Wahrlich, diese tugendhaften Observanzen ziehen für die Menschen das Heilsame herbei; und den bös Gesinnten nehmen sie die Sünde hinweg. Denen, die den guten Pfad gehen, tilgen sie das Verdienstmindernde immer wieder—sie lockern das pasha, das den pashu bindet, und wenden ihn Pati, dem Herrn Śiva, zu.
