FAQs

It situates Linga-worship culture within sacred transmission lines: the great sages and progenitors named here function as authoritative channels through which Shiva-dharma, mantra, and ritual order (vidhi) are preserved in the created world.

By listing cosmic agents and rishis within srishti, the verse implies Shiva-tattva as Pati—the transcendent Lord whose power underlies and regulates creation while remaining beyond the enumerated functions of makers, sustainers, and seers.

No single rite is specified; the takeaway is lineage-authority (parampara) for Vedic-Agamic practice—an essential Shaiva principle for correct Linga-puja and for Pashupata-oriented discipline to be received through qualified teachers.
