भुवनकोशस्वभाववर्णनम् — सप्तद्वीप-पर्वत-लोकविन्यासः तथा यक्ष-उमा-प्रकाशः

परार्धे तु तमो नित्यं लोकालोकस्ततः स्मृतः एवं संक्षेपतः प्रोक्तो भूर्लोकस्य च विस्तरः

Transliteration

parārdhe tu tamo nityaṃ lokālokastataḥ smṛtaḥ evaṃ saṃkṣepataḥ prokto bhūrlokasya ca vistaraḥ

Translation

In der ferneren Hälfte herrscht ewige Finsternis; darum wird sie als die Lokāloka-Grenze erinnert, die die manifesten Welten von dem trennt, was jenseits liegt. So ist in Kürze die Ausdehnung der Bhūrloka beschrieben.
