Adhyaya 4: अहोरात्र-युग-मन्वन्तर-कल्पमान तथा प्रलयान्ते सृष्ट्युपक्रमः

एतद्दिव्यमहोरात्रम् इति लैङ्गे ऽत्र पठ्यते दिव्ये रात्र्यहनी वर्षं प्रविभागस्तयोः पुनः

Transliteration

etaddivyamahorātram iti laiṅge 'tra paṭhyate divye rātryahanī varṣaṃ pravibhāgastayoḥ punaḥ

Translation

So wird es hier in der Liṅga-Überlieferung rezitiert: Dies ist der «göttliche Tag und die göttliche Nacht». Und wiederum wird aus eben dieser göttlichen Nacht und diesem göttlichen Tag durch ihre Teilung das Maß eines Jahres bestimmt.
