Prākṛta-pralaya, Pratisarga Doctrine, and the Ishvara-Samanvaya of Yoga and Devotion

वेदशाखाप्रणयनं व्यासानां कथनं ततः / अवेदस्य च वेदानां कथनं मुनिपुङ्गवाः

vedaśākhāpraṇayanaṃ vyāsānāṃ kathanaṃ tataḥ / avedasya ca vedānāṃ kathanaṃ munipuṅgavāḥ

O ihr erhabensten der Weisen, danach folgt der Bericht über die Abfassung und Ordnung der vedischen Śākhās, die Erzählung von der Linie der Vyāsas und auch die Darlegung sowohl dessen, was außerhalb der Veden liegt (a-veda), als auch dessen, was zu den Veden gehört.
