Devadāru (Dāruvana) Forest: The Delusion of Ritual Pride, the Liṅga Crisis, and the Teaching of Jñāna–Pāśupata Yoga

यद् वा कौपीनवसनः स्याद् वैकवसनो मुनिः / वेदाभ्यासरतो विद्वान् ध्यायेत् पशुपतिं शिवम्

yad vā kaupīnavasanaḥ syād vaikavasano muniḥ / vedābhyāsarato vidvān dhyāyet paśupatiṃ śivam

Oder auch: Der Weise, nur mit einem Lendentuch bekleidet—oder nur mit einem einzigen Gewand—, kundig und dem Rezitieren und Studium der Veden hingegeben, soll über Śiva, Paśupati, den Herrn der Wesen, meditieren.
