Prāyaścitta for Theft, Forbidden Foods, Impurity, and Ritual Lapses; Tīrtha–Vrata Remedies; Pativratā Mahātmyam via Sītā and Agni

एकाहेन विवाहाग्निं परिहार्य द्विजोत्तमः / त्रिरात्रेण विशद्ध्येत त्रिरात्रात् षडहं पुनः

ekāhena vivāhāgniṃ parihārya dvijottamaḥ / trirātreṇa viśaddhyeta trirātrāt ṣaḍahaṃ punaḥ

O Bester der Zweimalgeborenen: Wenn er das Hochzeitsfeuer (das Hausvater-Feuer) für einen Tag beiseite lässt, wird er in drei Nächten rein; und nach diesen drei Nächten soll er wiederum weitere sechs Tage der Zügelung und Läuterung einhalten.
