Aśauca-vidhi — Rules of Birth/Death Impurity, Sapinda Circles, and Śrāddha Sequence

अवरश्चेद् वरं वर्णमवरं वा वरो यदि / अशौचे संस्पृशेत् स्नेहात् तदाशौचेन शुध्यति

avaraśced varaṃ varṇamavaraṃ vā varo yadi / aśauce saṃspṛśet snehāt tadāśaucena śudhyati

Wenn jemand niedrigerer Varṇa aus Zuneigung während der Aśauca (rituellen Unreinheit) einen Höheren berührt — oder ein Höherer ebenso einen Niedrigeren —, dann wird der Berührende rein, indem er eben diese Aśauca gemäß der Vorschrift auf sich nimmt und einhält.
