मोहिनी-प्रादुर्भावः (Mohinī’s Manifestation) — Narrative Prelude to the Bhandāsura Cycle

एतद्दृष्ट्वा तु चरितं धाता भण्डिति भण्डिति / यदुवाच ततो नाम्ना भण्डो लोकेषु कथ्यते

etaddṛṣṭvā tu caritaṃ dhātā bhaṇḍiti bhaṇḍiti / yaduvāca tato nāmnā bhaṇḍo lokeṣu kathyate

Als Dhātā diese Begebenheit sah, rief er: „Bhaṇḍi! Bhaṇḍi!“; und nach diesem Ausspruch wurde er in den Welten „Bhaṇḍa“ genannt.
