Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
प्राणस्योर्जस्वती भार्या सह आयु: पुरोजव: । ध्रुवस्य भार्या धरणिरसूत विविधा: पुर: ॥ १२ ॥
prāṇasyorjasvatī bhāryā saha āyuḥ purojavaḥ dhruvasya bhāryā dharaṇir asūta vividhāḥ puraḥ
Ūrjasvatī, die Gemahlin Prāṇas, gebar drei Söhne namens Saha, Āyus und Purojava. Dhruvas Gemahlin hieß Dharaṇī; aus ihrem Schoß entstanden verschiedene Städte (puras).
This verse states that Prāṇa’s wife was Ūrjasvatī, and their sons were named Saha, Āyu, and Purojava.
