Parīkṣit’s Inquiry into Vṛtrāsura’s Bhakti and the Beginning of Citraketu’s Trial
कृतद्युतिरजानन्ती सपत्नीनामघं महत् । सुप्त एवेति सञ्चिन्त्य निरीक्ष्य व्यचरद्गृहे ॥ ४४ ॥
kṛtadyutir ajānantī sapatnīnām aghaṁ mahat supta eveti sañcintya nirīkṣya vyacarad gṛhe
Ohne das große Vergehen der Nebenfrauen zu kennen, meinte Königin Kṛtadyuti: „Mein Sohn schläft tief.“ Sie sah nach ihm und ging im Haus umher, ohne zu begreifen, dass er bereits tot war.
