ववर्ष कामानन्येषां पर्जन्य इव देहिनाम् । धन्यं यशस्यमायुष्यं कुमारस्य महामना: ॥ ३५ ॥

Transliteration

vavarṣa kāmān anyeṣāṁ parjanya iva dehinām dhanyaṁ yaśasyam āyuṣyaṁ kumārasya mahā-manāḥ

Translation

Wie eine Wolke unterschiedslos Regen über die Erde gießt, so ließ der großherzige König Citraketu, um Ruhm, Wohlstand und langes Leben seines Sohnes zu mehren, über alle Menschen begehrenswerte Gaben wie Regen niedergehen.
