न ते शस्त्रास्त्रवर्षौघा ह्यासेदु: सुरसैनिकान् । छिन्ना: सिद्धपथे देवैर्लघुहस्तै: सहस्रधा ॥ २५ ॥

Transliteration

na te śastrāstra-varṣaughā hy āseduḥ sura-sainikān chinnāḥ siddha-pathe devair laghu-hastaiḥ sahasradhā

Translation

Die Sturzbäche aus Waffen und Pfeilen, die ausgesandt wurden, um die Deva-Soldaten zu töten, erreichten sie nicht, denn die Devas zerschnitten sie mit flinken Händen schon am Himmel in tausend Stücke.
