श्रीवैतालिका ऊचु: सभासु सत्रेषु तवामलं यशो गीत्वा सपर्यां महतीं लभामहे । यस्तामनैषीद् वशमेष दुर्जनो द्विष्टया हतस्ते भगवन्यथामय: ॥ ५४ ॥
śrī-vaitālikā ūcuḥ sabhāsu satreṣu tavāmalaṁ yaśo gītvā saparyāṁ mahatīṁ labhāmahe yas tām anaiṣīd vaśam eṣa durjano dviṣṭyā hatas te bhagavan yathāmayaḥ
Die Bewohner von Vaitālika-loka sprachen: O Herr, indem wir in großen Versammlungen und auf den Opferplätzen Dein makelloses Lob sangen, genossen wir große Achtung. Doch dieser böse Dämon riss jene Stellung an sich. Nun hast Du ihn getötet, wie man eine chronische Krankheit heilt — zu unserem großen Glück.
It says that by singing the Lord’s spotless fame in gatherings and sacrificial settings, devotees gain the great opportunity to worship and serve Him.
