Avadhūta’s Further Teachers: Detachment, Solitude, One-Pointed Meditation, and the Lord as Āśraya
This verse says true detachment naturally arises when one is illumined by realized knowledge within the Self, leading to freedom from worldly attachment.
In the Avadhuta’s teaching, inner realization makes one independent of external supports; freed from ego and possessiveness, he moves through the world without binding attachments.
Act responsibly yet drop the doer-ego—offer results to the Lord, avoid identity based on status, and keep a steady inner witness through daily sādhana and self-reflection.
