śrī-śuka uvāca etac chrutvā mahā-bhāgo vasudevo ’ti-vismitaḥ devakī ca mahā-bhāgā jahatur moham ātmanaḥ

Translation

Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī sprach: Als der überaus glückliche Vasudeva diese Erzählung hörte, war er völlig von Staunen ergriffen. Und zusammen mit der hochgesegneten Devakī gaben beide die Verblendung und die Sorge auf, die in ihre Herzen eingedrungen waren.
