Bhakti as the Easy and Supreme Yoga: Seeing Kṛṣṇa in All and Uddhava’s Departure to Badarikāśrama
martyo yadā tyakta-samasta-karmā niveditātmā vicikīrṣito me tadāmṛtatvaṁ pratipadyamāno mayātma-bhūyāya ca kalpate vai
This verse says immortality is attained when one abandons independent, self-serving action and fully offers oneself to Krishna, acting only to fulfill His desire.
Because pure devotion requires surrender of personal agenda; when actions are no longer performed for separate ends and are offered to Krishna alone, the devotee becomes eligible for liberation and divine likeness.
Dedicate your identity, choices, and daily work to serving Krishna’s will—practice devotion, reduce ego-driven goals, and align decisions with dharma and bhakti.
