Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi Meets Lord Śiva: Devotee as Living Tīrtha and the Lord’s Māyā

सोऽप्यवाप्तमहायोगमहिमा भार्गवोत्तम: । विचरत्यधुनाप्यद्धा हरावेकान्ततां गत: ॥ ३९ ॥

so ’py avāpta-mahā-yoga- mahimā bhārgavottamaḥ vicaraty adhunāpy addhā harāv ekāntatāṁ gataḥ

Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi, der Beste unter den Nachkommen Bhṛgus, ist ruhmreich, weil er die Vollkommenheit des Mahā-yoga erlangt hat. Noch heute wandert er durch diese Welt, ganz versunken in ungetrübter, ausschließlicher Hingabe an Śrī Hari, die Höchste Persönlichkeit Gottes.
