The Solar Eclipse at Samanta-pañcaka and the Great Reunion of Yādavas, Pāṇḍavas, and Vraja
स्त्रियश्च संवीक्ष्य मिथोऽतिसौहृद- स्मितामलापाङ्गदृशोऽभिरेभिरे । स्तनै: स्तनान् कुङ्कुमपङ्करूषितान् निहत्य दोर्भि: प्रणयाश्रुलोचना: ॥ १५ ॥
striyaś ca saṁvīkṣya mitho ’ti-sauhṛda- smitāmalāpāṅga-dṛśo ’bhirebhire stanaiḥ stanān kuṅkuma-paṅka-rūṣitān nihatya dorbhiḥ praṇayāśru-locanāḥ
Die Frauen blickten einander an, mit reinen Lächeln inniger Freundschaft und klaren Seitenblicken. Dann umarmten sie sich; ihre mit Kumkuma und Safranpaste bestrichenen Brüste drückten sich aneinander, und ihre Augen füllten sich mit Tränen der Zuneigung.
