FAQs

This verse portrays the surrendered souls addressing Krishna as prapannārti-hara, the remover of distress for those who take shelter of Him, and praying for His protection from fearful saṁsāra.

Having been oppressed and trapped in suffering, the kings recognize Krishna as the supreme Lord over all gods and as the imperishable protector whose power and mercy never diminish.

The verse advises turning to sincere surrender—seeking Krishna’s shelter, praying for guidance and protection, and cultivating detachment from the exhausting cycle of fear and repeated worldly distress.
