ततश्चटचटाशब्दो वज्रनिष्पेससन्निभ: । गदयो: क्षिप्तयो राजन्दन्तयोरिव दन्तिनो: ॥ ३६ ॥

Transliteration

tataś caṭa-caṭā-śabdo vajra-niṣpesa-sannibhaḥ gadayoḥ kṣiptayo rājan dantayor iva dantinoḥ

Translation

Als dann die geschleuderten Keulen aufeinanderprallten, ertönte ein „tschatt-tschatt“, dem Schlag des Donnerkeils gleich. O König, es klang wie das Zusammenstoßen der mächtigen Stoßzähne zweier kämpfender Elefanten.
