FAQs

In 10.60.51, Śrī Kṛṣṇa praises Rukmiṇī’s pātivratya—her faithful, unwavering devotion as a wife—showing that true chastity includes steadiness of heart and loyalty even under emotional testing.

After speaking words that distressed her, Kṛṣṇa reassures Rukmiṇī that He was not rejecting her; He is acknowledging that even when shaken by His statements, her devotion and resolve toward Him did not weaken.

It teaches steadiness and loyalty: when misunderstandings or harsh words arise, a devoted person responds with integrity and commitment rather than abandoning dharma or affection.
