Kṛṣṇa Visits Indraprastha; Kuntī’s Remembrance; Kālindī and Further Marriages
varaṁ vilokyābhimataṁ samāgataṁ narendra-kanyā cakame ramā-patim bhūyād ayaṁ me patir āśiṣo ’nalaḥ karotu satyā yadi me dhṛto vrataḥ
This verse shows a devotee connecting sincere vrata with prayerful dependence on divine sanction—she asks the sacred fire to confirm the fruit of her vow by granting Kṛṣṇa as her husband.
Because Kṛṣṇa is her long-desired and most worthy bridegroom—Ramāpati, the supreme Lord—she openly accepts Him and seeks confirmation through the sacred fire, trusting the truth of her vow.
Keep spiritual commitments sincerely (vrata), and align desires with devotion—then pray with humility, seeking God’s will rather than mere personal control.
