प्राह न: सार्थकं जन्म पावितं च कुलं प्रभो । पितृदेवर्षयो मह्यं तुष्टा ह्यागमनेन वाम् ॥ ४५ ॥

Transliteration

prāha naḥ sārthakaṁ janma pāvitaṁ ca kulaṁ prabho pitṛ-devarṣayo mahyaṁ tuṣṭā hy āgamanena vām

Translation

[Sudāmā sprach:] O Herr, nun ist meine Geburt sinnvoll geworden und mein Geschlecht ist gereinigt. Da Ihr beide hierher gekommen seid, sind meine Ahnen, die Devas und die großen Weisen gewiss mit mir zufrieden.
