आत्मनात्माश्रय: पूर्वं मायया ससृजे गुणान् । तैरिदं सत्यसङ्कल्प: सृजस्यत्स्यवसीश्वर: ॥ १२ ॥

Transliteration

ātmanātmāśrayaḥ pūrvaṁ māyayā sasṛje guṇān tair idaṁ satya-saṅkalpaḥ sṛjasy atsy avasīśvaraḥ

Translation

Du bist die Zuflucht aller Seelen, und als der höchste Herrscher erfüllst Du Deine Wünsche einfach durch Deinen Willen. Durch Deine persönliche schöpferische Kraft hast Du am Anfang die grundlegenden Erscheinungsweisen der materiellen Natur manifestiert, und durch ihr Wirken erschaffst, erhältst und vernichtest Du dieses Universum.
