FAQs

This verse highlights how the Vraja trees, by their own shade, protect others from scorching heat—an image of selfless, compassionate service that supports bhakti.

He sets the scene for Kṛṣṇa’s words to the Vrajavāsīs, using the trees’ umbrella-like shade to emphasize Vraja’s nurturing, devotional atmosphere where even nature serves the Lord’s līlā.

Like the trees that give shade without asking anything in return, practice quiet service—use your time, resources, or skills to protect and uplift others, especially in devotional community.
