Dhruva’s War with the Yakṣas and the Protection of the Holy Name
ततो निष्क्रम्य बलिन उपदेवमहाभटा: । असहन्तस्तन्निनादमभिपेतुरुदायुधा: ॥ ७ ॥
tato niṣkramya balina upadeva-mahā-bhaṭāḥ asahantas tan-ninādam abhipetur udāyudhāḥ
O Held Vidura, da traten die äußerst mächtigen Krieger der Yakṣas, angeführt von Upadeva, hervor; den dröhnenden Klang ertragend sie nicht, kamen sie bewaffnet aus der Stadt und griffen Dhruva an.
