एवं कामवरं दत्त्वा प्रतिजग्मु: सुरेश्वरा: । सभाजितास्तयो: सम्यग्दम्पत्योर्मिषतोस्तत: ॥ ३२ ॥
evaṁ kāma-varaṁ dattvā pratijagmuḥ sureśvarāḥ sabhājitās tayoḥ samyag dampatyor miṣatos tataḥ
So gaben die drei Herren der Götter (Brahmā, Viṣṇu und Maheśvara) den ersehnten Segen und verschwanden dann vor den Augen des Ehepaares von jenem Ort, nachdem sie gebührend geehrt worden waren.
This verse shows that devas may grant a desired boon, and that the proper response is respectful honoring (samyak sabhājana) rather than pride or entitlement.
After fulfilling their purpose—granting the requested boon—and being duly honored by the couple, the demigods returned to their abodes, as is typical in these narratives.
