Sukta 1
stanayitnúḥ te vāk prájāpate vṛ́ṣā śúṣmaṃ kṣípasi bhū́myāṃ diví | tā́ṃ paśáva úpa jīvanti sárve téno u séṣam ū́rjaṃ piparti
Thy thunder is a Voice, O Prajāpati: as Bull thou hurlest might, in heaven and on the earth. By that all creatures live and are sustained; thereby, in sooth, he filleth up the remnant with nourishment.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (Prajāpati-centered speculative hymn; r̥ṣi not explicit in the provided excerpt)
Devata: Prajāpati (with thunder/rain as his manifestation)
Chandas: Mixed/Prose-like Atharvanic style with mantra cadence (not a strict RV metrical stanza in this segment)
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: shanta
