Chapter 369 —
The Limbs/Organs and Constituents of the Body

Dosha: Kapha
Concept: Anumāna (inference) as a valid means to understand unseen origins (bhūta-sambandha) behind visible structures.
Application: Use inferential reasoning from observable signs (eye features) to underlying doṣa/elemental states.

Sandhi Resolution Notes: bhūtānumānācca → bhūta-anumānāt ca; bhavatīndriyasambhavaḥ → bhavati indriya-sambhavaḥ; netrayor-maṇḍalam → netrayoḥ maṇḍalam; kaphādbhavati → kaphāt bhavati.

Ayurvedic-physiological knowledge: it links a specific ocular structure (the white scleral region) to kapha and explains sense-organ constitution through elemental inference (bhūta-anumāna).
It demonstrates that the Agni Purana is not only devotional but also preserves technical śārīra (anatomy/physiology) and doṣa theory, integrating medical classification of body parts alongside broader Purāṇic teachings.
Indirectly, it supports dharmic living by promoting right knowledge of the body as elementally constituted, encouraging balanced conduct and health (ārogya) as a foundation for sādhana and duty.
