Concept: Space is ritually ‘activated’ through ordered placement (nyāsa), making the environment fit for divine presence and human dwelling.

Application: In pratiṣṭhā/vāstu rites, follow dik-krama precisely; start from Agneya and proceed as the paddhati prescribes to avoid directional doṣa.

FAQs

It teaches śakti-nyāsa: the ordered ritual ‘placement/installation’ of specific named Śaktis, beginning from the Agneya (fire-associated) direction/sequence.

It preserves a procedural ritual manual (pūjā-vidhi) with technical sequencing, deity-power nomenclature, and nyāsa methodology—showing the Agni Purana’s coverage beyond narrative into practical liturgy.

Correct nyāsa is held to sanctify the practitioner’s ritual field/body, invoke auspicious powers (joy, good fortune, great auspiciousness), and stabilize the efficacy (siddhi) of worship.
