Related Themes: Agni Purana 96 (adhivāsa, nyāsa, homa sequences)
It teaches a specific nyāsa procedure: installing Ādhāra-śakti on the brahma-śilā and sealing it with a ritual bandha, then maintaining the observance for a fixed number of nights (3/5/7).
It preserves manual-like liturgical details—installation (nyāsa), ritual sealing (bandha), and time-bound observances—showing that the Agni Purana functions not only as mythology but also as a practical compendium of temple/ritual technology.
By ritually establishing the foundational Śakti and sustaining the vow for prescribed nights, the practitioner is understood to stabilize the rite, purify the worship-space, and secure the intended spiritual efficacy (siddhi) of the worship.
