अस्त्रेण हूं फडन्तेन मलस्नानं समाचरेत् विधिना पञ्चगव्येन स्नानं पञ्चामृतेन च
astreṇa hūṃ phaḍantena malasnānaṃ samācaret vidhinā pañcagavyena snānaṃ pañcāmṛtena ca
Man soll das reinigende Bad (zur Beseitigung von Unreinheit) mit der Astra-Mantra vollziehen, die mit „hūṃ phaṭ“ endet; und nach der vorgeschriebenen Ordnung soll man auch mit pañcagavya und mit pañcāmṛta baden.
