Nachdem man es zunächst getrennt, dann nach innen gezogen und wie zuvor vollständig verehrt hat, soll man es vom dvādaśānta („Ende der Zwölf“) her im Fruchtknoten des eigenen Herz-Lotos einsetzen.

Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Tantra","secondary_vidya":"Mantra","practical_application":"Antaryāga/nyāsa practice: withdrawing the invoked deity/mantra-power and installing it in the heart-lotus for internal worship and stabilization of meditation.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Dvādaśānta-to-Hṛdaya-karnikā Nyāsa (Internal Installation)","lookup_keywords":["dvādaśānta","hṛdaya-padma","karnikā","nyāsa","antaryāga"],"quick_summary":"After external worship, the sādhaka withdraws the invoked power from dvādaśānta and installs it in the heart-lotus pericarp, converting outer pūjā into inner absorption."}
Concept: Internalization of ritual: the locus of divinity/mantra is realized within the heart (antarhṛdaya) rather than only in external supports.
Application: Use as a closing/culminating step after pūjā: stabilize attention at dvādaśānta, then settle awareness into the heart-lotus pericarp as the seat of iṣṭa-devatā/mantra.
Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi / Yoga-Tantra (Nyasa, Dhyana, Antaryaga)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Sandhi Resolution Notes: viyojya+ākṛṣya → viyojyākṛṣya; ātmīya-hṛdaya-ambhoja-karṇikāyām is a multi-member tatpuruṣa; dvādaśāntataḥ = dvādaśānta + taḥ (ablatival adverbial).
Related Themes: Agni Purana 88 (Nyāsa–dhyāna–antaryāga sequence)
It teaches an antaryāga/nyāsa step: after ritual visualization (separating and drawing in the deity/energy), one worships it and then mentally installs it in the heart-lotus’ pericarp, beginning from the dvādaśānta locus.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s practical coverage of tantric-yogic ritual technology—subtle-body locations (dvādaśānta), internal worship (antaryāga), and installation (nyāsa)—alongside its many other domains like polity, medicine, and poetics.
Internal installation in the heart-lotus converts external worship into inner realization, aiming at purification of mind and steady devotion through concentrated meditative placement of the worshipped principle.
