Saṃskāra-Dīkṣā: Consecratory Initiation

रक्षणाय घटाधस्तादारोप्य क्षणमात्रकं शिवादाज्ञां समादाय ददीत यतिने गुरुः

rakṣaṇāya ghaṭādhastādāropya kṣaṇamātrakaṃ śivādājñāṃ samādāya dadīta yatine guruḥ

Zum Schutz soll der Guru (das Gefäß) für einen Augenblick unter (den Kopf/Sitz des Schülers) legen; dann, nachdem er Śivas Weisung (Ermächtigung) empfangen hat, soll er es dem Yati (dem entsagenden Schüler) verleihen.
