भुक्तये मुक्तये त्वादौ मुष्टिना वर्धनीं स्पृशेत् कुम्भस्य मुखरक्षार्थं ज्ञानखड्गं समर्पयेत्
bhuktaye muktaye tvādau muṣṭinā vardhanīṃ spṛśet kumbhasya mukharakṣārthaṃ jñānakhaḍgaṃ samarpayet
Zu Beginn, zum Zwecke weltlichen Genusses und der Befreiung (mukti), soll man die „Vardhanī“ mit der geballten Faust berühren; und zum Schutz der Öffnung des Kumbha soll man das „Schwert der Erkenntnis“ (jñāna-khaḍga) darbringen.
