FAQs

It prescribes a practical protective rite: face Agni, perform sincere inner worship aligned with one’s proper directions, and thereby avert accumulated obstacles (vighna-saṅghāta) to safeguard a child.

Alongside theology, the Agni Purana preserves applied household ritual technology—directional worship, obstacle-removal praxis, and protective procedures—showing its coverage of lived religion and domestic safeguarding rites.

Heartfelt worship of Agni is framed as a purifying, protective act that removes impediments and supports dharmic well-being—especially the vulnerable (a child)—by aligning devotion, ritual order, and divine protection.
