FAQs

It teaches a precise preparation-and-arrangement method: making multiple pots of bark-decoction from specific trees and placing a honey-filled pot centrally in an ‘Agneya’ ninefold layout, indicating a standardized procedural setup for a formulation.

Alongside theology and ritual, the text preserves practical technical know-how—here, a structured Ayurvedic-pharmaceutical procedure (ingredients, vessel counts, and layout), showing the Purana’s coverage of applied sciences.

By embedding medicinal preparation within an ‘Agneya’ (fire-associated) ordered arrangement, the act is framed as both therapeutic and purificatory—aligning healing practice with sacred order and disciplined procedure.
