Chapter 338 — शृङ्गारादिरसनिरूपणम्

Exposition of the Rasas beginning with Śṛṅgāra

विलापो दुःखवचनमनुलापो ऽसकृद्वचः संलाप उक्तप्रत्युक्तमपलापो ऽन्यथावचः

vilāpo duḥkhavacanamanulāpo 'sakṛdvacaḥ saṃlāpa uktapratyuktamapalāpo 'nyathāvacaḥ

„Vilāpa“ ist Rede, die Kummer ausspricht; „anulāpa“ ist wiederholtes Sprechen; „saṃlāpa“ ist ein Gespräch aus Aussage und Erwiderung; und „apalāpa“ ist anders reden—das heißt widersprüchlich oder ausweichend sprechen.
