The Greatness of Prayāga

वटमूले सङ्गमादौ मृतो विष्णुपुरीं व्रजेत् उर्वशीपुलिनं रम्यं तीर्थं सन्ध्यावतस् तथा

vaṭamūle saṅgamādau mṛto viṣṇupurīṃ vrajet urvaśīpulinaṃ ramyaṃ tīrthaṃ sandhyāvatas tathā

Wer am Wurzelgrund des Banyanbaums am heiligen Zusammenfluss stirbt, gelangt in die Stadt Viṣṇus. Ebenso ist das liebliche Ufer der Urvaśī eine Tīrtha-Stätte für jene, die der Sandhyā‑Verehrung in der Dämmerung ergeben sind.
