Chapter 290 — गजशान्तिः

Gaja-śānti: Elephant-Pacification Rite

इत्येवमभिषिक्तैनमारोहेत शुभे नृपः तस्यानुगमनं कुर्युः सशस्त्रनवसद्गजाः

ityevamabhiṣiktainamāroheta śubhe nṛpaḥ tasyānugamanaṃ kuryuḥ saśastranavasadgajāḥ

So soll der König, nachdem er auf diese Weise geweiht (abhisheka) worden ist, den glückverheißenden königlichen Wagen oder Sitz besteigen. Hinter ihm sollen neun vortreffliche Elefanten mit bewaffnetem Gefolge einherziehen.
