अश्ववाहनसारः

सहजा इव दृश्यन्ते गुणाः सादिवरोद्भवाः नाशयन्ति गुणानन्ये सादिनः सहजानपि

sahajā iva dṛśyante guṇāḥ sādivarodbhavāḥ nāśayanti guṇānanye sādinaḥ sahajānapi

Eigenschaften, die aus Ursachen „mit Anfang“ (erworbenen oder bedingten Faktoren) hervorgehen, erscheinen, als wären sie angeboren. Doch solche erworbenen Eigenschaften können, wenn sie in Widerstreit geraten, andere Eigenschaften zerstören, sogar die wahrhaft angeborenen.
